Job Description

Employee Experience & Inclusion Manager

As the Employee Experience & Inclusion Manager you will be integral to driving internal culture at The RealReal. You will design and deliver a seamless, inclusive, and high-energy end-to-end journey for every employee. You won't just manage programs; you will cultivate an environment where diversity, inclusion, and belonging are woven into our DNA, and where employee engagement is a natural byproduct of a supportive workplace. You will be responsible for partnering with the People team and cross-functional business teams.

Culture & Brand Advocacy

  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Partner with our Brand and Communications teams to ensure our internal culture and programs align with our external employer brand.
  • Develop and execute programs that create a workplace where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Owns community across a range of cohort groups to monitor engagement and experience needs, while helping to drive greater understanding and build breakthrough experience programming

End-to-End Employee Journey

  • Audit and optimize every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle: from recruitment to a thoughtful offboarding process.
  • Innovate to move beyond perk offerings and create a meaningful framework for cultural programs and activities

Program Ownership & Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Strategy

  • Own and lead the end-to-end employee onboarding experience that ensures new hires feel a sense of belonging from day one.
  • Integrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging principles into all people processes (hiring, performance reviews, and promotions).
  • Own Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy and programming.

Engagement & Feedback Loops

  • Have an expansive view of all channels to grow internal communities across all platforms (Slack, intranet, internal communication platforms), in partnership with the Comms team.
  • Manage internal recognition tools that foster a culture of peer-to-peer appreciation.
  • Design engagement strategies that maintain connection across all physical and remote locations.

The expected salary range for this role is $115,000.00-$125,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
