Job Title

Registered Nurse – Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care Transport (Flight/Transport RN)

Seattle, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a transport team including Respiratory Therapists and Advanced Practice Providers to safely transport critically ill infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, ERs, and L&D/NICU settings to a higher level of care facility
• Provide expert nursing care during ground transportation for neonatal and pediatric patients
• May float to serve as a bedside nurse in NICU, PICU, or general Pediatrics units as needed
• Maintain BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric/neonatal critical care transport or a directly related specialty
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in ground transportation is required
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience is preferred
• Prior experience working in NICU, PICU, or pediatric acute care settings
• Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric transport protocols and equipment
